Adriano Meneghetti Accessories- Made in Italy

Adriano Meneghetti.  I have blogged about this fabulous new designer before.  And I am going to blog about him again as his new website is fully up and running.

The homepage greets you with a stunning visual and quote:

Going back
to a simplier life
is not a step
backward.

The SS12 collection section on the website, which comprises of two separate group collections named "Rugged" and "Trotter," allows you to easily scroll through the excellent image quality and beautiful design.  The full image collections are available to see, with descriptions of each items.  Excellent.

"Rugged" Collection - Elegance and Tradition

The RUGGED collection is a mix of elegance and tradition. Washed, aged and twisted leather and brass and silver buckles create belts intended to last and improve with time.

I have included some of my favourite items below.  The mix between classic designs, with quirky detailing has been perfectly balanced, with kooky design details such as embossed numbers, perforated geometric shapes and grooved vertical lines.

"Trotter" Collection - Equestrian Inspiration

The TROTTER collection draws its inspiration from horsemanship: a technical article typical of the riding world is cut and matched with the leather, re-echoing the atmospheres of the Ivy League.
The lightness and the resistance of the nylon plait, together with the drummed leather, create very light and at the same time very resistant belts, which are embellished by the bright hand painted rib. These belts are intended to last and improve with time

A section that I really enjoyed was the "Handmade in Italy."  Here is where another burst of passion comes through from Meneghetti- he is truly passionate about creating classic designs, taking advantage of the excellent handcraft skills available in his italian homeland.  High resolution images can be seen of the processes that make up Meneghetti's stunning creations.
